Regcure is a well designed and popular registry cleaner.  It scans your pc for errors in the registry that cause it to be slow and possibly crash.  Regcure scans for the following problems: active, uninstall entries, fonts, shared dlls, application paths, help file, Windows startup items, file/path references, program shortcuts, and file associations.

The Regcure scan on our computer took 2 minutes and 31 seconds and found 332 errors.   We feel that a good quality scanner should be able to fully scan your pc and detect this amount of errors in about 60-70 seconds, so Regcure is severely lacking in this area.

The Regcure interface is one of the best we’ve seen. Its simple, easy to use and the graphics are professional and well done.

The scheduling function lets you set a time to run an automatic scan.  The backup feature backs up the registry before a scan and lets you restore it in case of a problem, we tested the feature and it worked well for us.

The manage startup feature lets you disable programs from starting on Windows startup. This is a great feature that makes it easy to improve the startup time of your pc.

The Regcure help guide is easy to use and has all the info needed to learn how to use the software.

As with all software in this market you can do a free scan of your pc but to fix any problems found you will need to buy a license code to fix the errors found.

The biggest complaint we have is that Regcure doesn’t offer any type of guarantee that they will fix your pc problem.  There is no feature to let you send a log file to the company for more analysis.
